Formwork & Finishing Carpenter

Due to our clients’ requirements and timeframes, only candidates with eligibility to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications to carry out a wide range of carpentry tasks on civil construction sites
• Constructing formwork, boxing, beams, walls, stairs, and other structural elements for bridges and civil infrastructure projects
• Working with concrete, ensuring high-quality finishes and actively participating in concrete pours and related tasks
• Operating power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision and care
• Collaborating with engineers and site supervisors to ensure work is completed on time and in line with project requirements
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, while strictly following all health and safety protocols on site

Requirements:

• A 3+ years of experience as a Carpenter, specialising in formwork and concrete structures
• Proven experience working on bridges, roads, and civil projects
• Strong knowledge of formwork, boxing, concrete, beams, nails, stairs, and high-quality finishes.
• High attention to detail, solid problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and high quality of work
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour in a variety of site conditions
• A valid driver license and reliable transport
